Welcome to all the Pleasures!

A concert for St. Cecilia's Day and celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of William Boyce. Program includes Henry Purcell's Cecilian ode Welcome to all the Pleasures, a trio sonata, an organ voluntary, a concerto grosso, a symphony, and a Te Deum and Jubilate by Boyce, and Music, All Powerful by Thomas Forbes Walmisley.

Guest conductor: Michael Capon, Director of Music at St. George's Anglican Cathedral.

The Italian Connection

A motet by Alessandro Scarlatti, a madrigal by Andrea Gabrieli, a sinfonia by Tomaso Albinoni, a trio sonata by Arcangelo Corelli, a motet by Luca Marenzio, a concerto by Antonio Vivaldi, a missa brevis by Domenico Cimarosa, a sinfonia by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, and a cantata by Giovanni Battista ("Il Padre") Martini. With guest artists Jeff Hanlon and Chad Yacobucci (guitars).
